Scholarship Universe is Loyola’s scholarship matching platform designed to help you discover funding opportunities beyond traditional institutional, federal, and state aid. You can access Scholarship Universe through your Single Sign On (SSO) portal and create your unique profile to start finding scholarships. Through the portal, you’ll be able to:
- Match with vetted external scholarships tailored to your profile
- Apply for Loyola’s internal endowed scholarships in one convenient spot
- Upload and securely store commonly required documents (like your resume, letters of recommendation, and transcripts)

The office can help students set up a profile on Scholarship Universe to get matched with relevant funding opportunities, and our team can meet with students one-on-one to develop personalized strategies to help increase the affordability of college.
The Office of Scholarships and Grants focuses on helping students find and secure funding beyond traditional financial aid, such as external scholarships, private grants, and institutional awards. In contrast, the Office of Financial Aid primarily manages federal, state, and institutional aid programs, including the FAFSA process, student loans, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Together, both offices support college affordability, but with distinct roles and expertise.
All current, incoming and admitted students have access to the Scholarship Universe platform via their Loyola Single Sign On (SSO).
Once you log into your SSO, look for the button that says “Scholarship Universe” in your Apps Dashboard.

Scholarship Universe is designed to help students discover funding opportunities beyond traditional institutional, federal, and state aid. Once you set up your profile, you’ll be matched with vetted external scholarships and have the opportunity to apply for Loyola’s internal endowed scholarships.
You can create your profile on Scholarship Universe and start searching for funding opportunities at any time. However, we recommend that students take action over the summer to prepare and get matched with funding prior to the August 1 tuition deadline for the fall semester.
